Raleigh spent 70K, for this? What is it?

70K
The city of Raleigh has raised our property taxes three years in a row. And yet they spent 70K on this… this odd, hookah pipe-looking thing. It’s artwork, I guess, off of Sandy Forks.
But is that what government should be doing? Could this not have been done with private funding if it was really wanted? Could this not have been done by a local artist?
When you go to vote this October for City Council, vote for somebody who is going to respect your paycheck. And vote for somebody who is going to be responsible without tax dollars.
